In what has been an amazing year for awards, Goodenough College has been singled out for a “Highly Commended” award in the Student Accommodation Operator of the Year category in the prestigious RESI Awards.

Organised by Property Week, the RESI (Recognising Excellence in Residential Property) Awards bring together the key players in the residential market – including leading developers, landlords, house builders, operators, investors, agencies and local authorities – to celebrate the sector’s successes over the past year.

The category winner was Student Roost, a large company with student properties across the UK. College Registrar, Caroline Persaud, comments: “The fact that we were shortlisted against 13 major commercial providers, and singled out for the only Highly Commended award, is an extraordinary achievement for a small not-for-profit organisation such as Goodenough College. ”

Alan McCormack, Dean of the College, who attended the online ceremony, says: “We are thrilled to have been highly commended at the 2020 RESI Awards. This has been a very challenging year for everyone across the sector and I am personally delighted that the efforts of Goodenough College, its staff and its residents, have been so publically honoured in this way.”

The commendation sits alongside other awards this year including winning International Accommodation Provider of the Year in the prestigious PIEoneer Awards.
